01. The Challenge
MBA aspirants are constantly exposed to information — colleges, careers, industries, admissions, recruiters and changing market expectations. The challenge for E3 was to create a publication that could cut through this information overload and become something students would actually want to pick up, explore and keep.
The Learning Curve needed to function beyond a conventional promotional magazine. It had to bring together career intelligence, industry perspectives, educational opportunities and relevant stories in a format that felt credible to ambitious young professionals.
The publication also had to work within the ecosystem of E3’s educational events, where the magazine serves as a tangible communication touchpoint between the organisation, its partners and MBA aspirants.
02. The Solution
We approached The Learning Curve as an editorial experience rather than a collection of pages.
The design system was built around strong visual hierarchy, modular layouts and varied editorial compositions that allow different types of content to coexist without losing consistency.
From career-focused features and recruiter communication to industry stories, event information and educational insights, each section was given its own visual rhythm while remaining part of one cohesive publication.
The result is a magazine that balances information with visual engagement — making complex career and education-related content easier to navigate, scan and absorb.
Photography, typography, colour blocks, infographics and structured grids were used strategically to create a publication that feels contemporary and relevant to the MBA audience.
Designing a career-focused editorial publication for the next generation of business leaders.
03. The Result
The Learning Curve became a physical extension of E3’s educational ecosystem — giving its events and initiatives a more tangible, editorial presence.
Rather than functioning purely as an event handout, the magazine was designed as a piece of content that could inform, engage and remain useful beyond the event itself.
The publication brings together multiple voices and subjects within a consistent visual language, creating a professional editorial identity that speaks to students who are preparing not just for an MBA, but for the careers that follow.
